The discovery of follicular units, in which the Moser Medical Group was significantly involved, was a cornerstone in the research and development of surgical hair restoration. Only follicular unit hair transplantation allows us to transplant thousands of hairs in a very short time. The Mega Session makes it possible to restore your entire hair in only one session. It takes just a few hours but you'll have a full head of hair your entire life.

What are Follicular Units?
Hair either grows in single strands, or, more commonly, in clusters of 2, 3 or 4 hairs. The scientific term for these clusters is follicular units (FUs). These FUs are the precious resources of surgical hair transplantation. Inside each cell in our body we have a blueprint that determines who we are. The hair roots as well, have been genetically programmed. The hair roots on the sides and the back of the head are programmed to grow throughout the entire life-span of a person. This is the donor area
where we excise a narrow strip of the scalp for
the transplantation.

After the surgery only a very narrow, hardly recognizable scar will remain - easily concealed by the hair from above. Using a dissection microscope, the donor strip is carefully being dissected into follicular unit grafts,. These follicular units are then being placed into tiny little, pore-like holes in the recipient area. Since the FUs contain genetic information, they even grow in areas that formerly had been bald or thinning.

By the way, after the surgery you'll leave the clinic with your usual hair style. Only you'll know that you're soon going to have a strong and full head of hair again. Follicular Unit Hair Transplantation can be done with both women and men of any age.
